Why we created Leadwith
Great managers shape everything, from team culture and employee experience to productively and ultimately business performance. But most managers are never given the training they actually need to succeed.
After working with 100+ organizations over a decade as people strategy experts, we saw the same pattern: high-quality manager development is either too expensive to scale, or too generic to be effective. Organizations are left choosing between programs that don’t stick and ones they can’t sustain.
We created Leadwith to change that. Our goal is to provide expert-designed manager training that is practical, adaptable, and accessible, so organizations can deliver exceptional leadership development in-house, without unnecessary complexity or cost.

Liz Kofman-Burns, PhD

Liz is passionate about helping organizations bridge the gap between research and reality.
Liz is the Co-founder of Peoplism, an HR & DEI consulting firm that has supported leading organizations (including Workday, Lacoste, ThredUp and 100+ more), with data-driven assessments, custom leadership development, and organizational change for over 10 years.
Her insights on leadership and organizational culture have appeared in Harvard Business Review, Inc., First Round Review, TechCrunch, and Fortune. She has a Ph.D in Sociology from UCLA.
Sofie Leon, PhD

Sofie is an experienced leader who combines a rigorous engineering background with deep expertise in people development and organizational effectiveness.
Her work spans program design, data-driven assessment, and leadership development, with a consistent focus on creating effective systems where people can do their best work.
Sofie has a STEM educational background and has held program director positions at Cal State Fullerton and Caltech. Most recently, she was the Managing Director at Peoplism, where she oversaw and ran training programs around the globe.
Alexia Barrail

Alexia is a communications and marketing leader who specializes in turning complex ideas into clear, compelling messages that drive action.
Her work spans marketing strategy, executive communications, content development, and digital platforms. She has led high-impact initiatives for national agencies, strengthened brand visibility for executives and organizations, and overseen integrated campaigns that consistently increase revenue, engagement, and lead flow.
